ehhh me = :tard: you guys can disregard thanks for the help. for somereason the ips were not refreshing properly. I entered a manual IP for the second time now and it worked.

upgrading from home XP to Professional XP

I did that with my laptop went from Home to Pro, I made sure to back up my files which turned out to be unncessary(sp?) and it went flawlessly. Just make sure you go from SP2 --> SP2 or SP1 --> SP2 not SP2 --> SP1 theres a potential for some issues
