Folders auto-refresh, how do I stop this?

I'll be browsing my music folder, and without warning, and no matter what I'm doing within the folder, renaming a file, moving or copying, windows will refresh the folder and take me back to the top. Kind of a real pain when I'm trying to find songs to load onto my MP3 player. How do I stop...

I'm going to get a new ATI All In Wonder card along with an LCD monitor. The 9600XT has an adapter that provides dual monitor support, but it's VGA. I really like this feature. Is there THAT much of a difference between hooking a monitor up with VGA as opposed to DVI? I don't do gaming, but...

LCD monitors

So basically nothing that my eyes will see? I won't be doing any gaming. I have an ATI All In Wonder 9600XT so it will be connected via a 15 pin connector. I will basically be using it for general usage and watching basketball games.

Can someone recommend me a good sound card?

Actually, I was using a Creative CT4750, and I was having some synch problems. I was thinking a 24 bit card instead of a 16 bit? Also, since I'm posting, what does anyone think of the Western Digital SATA 10,000 RPM drive? Wouldn't that make your system run a lot smoother? The lower seek times?

Are LCD monitors worth it?

I have read that the refresh rates/response times aren't that of a CRT, and they cost a lot more. Are they worth it? What does TFT mean? I really want to get one, but am not sure. I don't do any gaming, but do a lot of video editing, and watch the Indiana Hoosiers' basketball games right...
