That clock speed isn't incredibly bad. A64s aren't known to overclock that much. The highest I got it to go and still be stable was about 10X230. I think I had to up the voltage closer to 1.7V though. But not too sure...it was a pretty long time ago. I'm running it at 10X215 and 1.5V right...

What's the default clock speed for the 3000+? What's the highest you got it to go without getting unstable? Have you tried increasing the core voltage? Be careful though. Setting it too high may burn your chip. You will need to go up by 1 Hz when you get to the higher frequencies. Also...

It crashed when I used F5. However, I'm almost certain it was because of my Netgear MA111. It seems to crash a lot of systems. F2 seems to be the only one that'll work for me right now. Hopefully the newer BIOS updates will work correctly. Also, I wasn't able to get into the BIOS settings...

You can try a different power supply. 300 Watts seems kinda low. I got one that's 500W, but it's a cheap one. It works, so I'm not complaining. Try one from a good company like Antec. It might give you better OC and stability.

Not sure which chip you have, but my chip defaults HTT to 4X. I've read that increasing it to 5X doesn't really help much, and it causes stability issues. I'm using 2 sticks of Corsair Value Ram PC3200 2X512 on slots 1 and 2. It's OCed to 218 mhz. Everything is stable and I haven't had any...

CnQ works with this board. Just install the AMD 64 drivers, then go to ur power settings and set it to minimal power management. When you check your clock speed, it should have dropped to about 800mhz or so....depending on which chip you got, it'll be a different speed.

I dunno...it might be luck. I'm running with 2 sticks of PC 3200 512mb sticks at 218mhz fine. After F2 bios, I've been able to run my ram past 200mhz without any problems.
