Need Cheap 256MB ram upgrade for your toshiba 2805-s402?

Geez where are you getting your guys ram from? Hehe, I signed up for a comp biz and get my stuff from distributors, and I ordered pc133 128 sodimm for like 25 bucks... and the 256mb ones were about 65. Also, anyone tried playing cs on the tosbiha 2805-s402? Is the sound card causing the lag...

Microsoft XP.... I think its time to start looking towards Linux...

oh btw, i just attended one of those MS technet briefings here in Hawaii today, and they advertise too much MS crap, but then what did i expect? It is "MS" technet. But i really like the network load balancing and clustering service presentation. How can you do this kind of stuff in...

well back to the topic.... Yeah like some articles on the net said, MS should add an option to stop the subscription when upgrading comps, i constantly update my comp (new mobo, cpu, HD, etc.) and callin MS each time seems like a pain in the ass... One thing about Linux that i really like is...

Dual Celerons v. Single P III

Windows 2000 and 512 mb ram

run x-setup to tweak your comp, forget what site you download it from, but you can prolly search for it. Rojakpot also has good stuff on win2k tweaks.

Whoa!! New VIA 4.28 drivers help my system noticably!!!!

That is the real via site Jal, but if you want the unofficial drivers (incl 4.28) go to www.viahardware.com but i thought Via officially released 4.28 last week or so? Oh btw, CS? Did I mention that Team-HI owns all? hehe

OT: A+ exam tomorrow...last minute tips/things to know?

sigh... no use using braindumps, you miss the whole point of the test. the A+ is pretty easy, just no basic stuff and some other stuff like the I/O and the COM ports. To me, those were the hardest things since you had to memorize em =).

Quick CD-ROM Drive Question

heard kenwood 72x drives are good, but i personally have had trouble with 40x (along with hundreds of others at least) and i don't know about 52x, but your mileage may vary - maybe the kenwood you buy may not have probs. plextor as far as i know makes cd-roms but not IDE cd roms (they make IDE...

try reading some A+ stuff too. It's just basic stuff pretty easy. a computer repair team? heh, that's a new one... Oh, also have them put together a comp well not in a case may take to long, just put the stuff together, install windows or dos or whatever and install all devices and then...
