It just needs to be easy to see what's playing, and easy to use controls, such that a blond in the passenger seat wouldn't have trouble using it. I know that might sound like a lot ;)

Well this sounds good...
Laptops are bad if you just type everything that is said. But they're good if really know how to take notes, most students don't know how to do this.
Use OneNote if you plan on using a laptop, it's probably the best M$ product ever.
I'd rather go with .45 because it's more common, thus less expensive. But...if I were to get something "interesting," I'd get a subcompact in .357sig. That's kind of a toy I've been wanting for a while. It's nice that you usually have the ability to convert it to .40 very easily.
But I still...
It's not looking so hot right now, but I have a year until I'm done with law school. Hiring freezes and firms closing up or cutting back all over. But I have a connection that may (should) land me something for the summer with a big firm. I guess we'll see. It's all about connections right now.
