i use VNC (made by at&t labs), but if you want save diskspace and use a lot less resources.. load up microsoft netmeeting (by going to run, then typing "conf") and simply go to the "remote desktop sharing" and enable it. make sure you setup all the options in it to make your sharing securer.

quad if u're reading this, go away! :) hehe.
anyways.. we've got this lab.. acid & bases lab to be more specific for chemistry (it's worth 5%) of our mark.. so i'm going to make the effort.. to do some research before actually making my procedure. This is the criteria we have to meet.
Purpose...
current setup:
ide channel #0 -> udma66(10gb) + udma33(cdrom)
ide channel #1 -> udma 100 (60gb) + udma 100 (60gb)
we know that if i wanted to stripe the two 60gb drives, there would be no performance difference.. cause they're sharing the same channel. but if i connect them on different...
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :P the reason for this multiboot cd is to simply have something that can boot into different setups / boot prompts.. without having the hassle.. of having 10 cds / bootdisks for booting
Alright. My goal is to make a multimeter kind of thing.. that can measure the amount of electricity my computer consumes, could tell me the voltage, and how many amps being used at a specific.. time. (so... it's not over a period of time, just at a certain time.) where would i attach such a...
What i'm trying to make is a multiboot cd.. that can prompt.. something like:
Possible Boot Setups:
---------------------------
1) Windows 2000 Pro Setup
2) Windows 2000 Server Setup
3) Windows 2000 Advanced Server Setup
4) Windows 98 SE Boot Disk
5) Slackware 8.0 Setup
6) etc.! :)
Anyways.. I...
alright.. finally a new question has arrived (other then leds!!) hehe. what determines the megabits per sec or megabytes per sec.. in an electrical circuit. there should be some limitations. like lets say i have a 22g copper wire, could i find out it's MAX mb/s or MB/s?
or do i have to know...
I hear stuff about "conductive pens" and "resist pens", what purpose do they exactly serve in a circuit? My goal is to allow certain solder "holes" to be connected through some sort of "lining" so the electrons can pass through. Where can i buy some of this stuff? :)
Like my book says.. use a...
Hey scottmac, i love your sense of humor lol. You made that more entertaining to read =) GJ :)
Everyone else, thanks! -- you guys helped me too. thanks ;)

I've got the proper tools to build a network cable + I know how to arrange the wire pairs etc. The only problem I'm having is that.. how can I efficiently put the little wires all the way.. inside the connector? They never go in all the way! =( No matter how hard i try! :[
