Best AMD vid card for this mobo

Been out of the computer game for a while and am looking to do an upgrade on a system that was given to me. The mobo is an ASUS M3A78-em with an AMD Phenom 9750 cpu Money is tight to do this but I need a better video card til I can build be a better system. So recommendations?

WOW!!Strange boot issue

%100 sure it is not a jumper issue....anyone know all the ins and outs of drive geometry,partition tables and how windows XP uses the partition info when booting?

yea...just that it has become a grudge match between it and myself....and I already got back what I was sure was gone...so really....I just gotta know....I hate unanswered questions...and like O.C.ing.....gotta push it and see what it will do,even if it kills it....so anyone got any ideas???

WOW!!Strange boot issue

not possable on this mobo....can't choose which ide...only choice is hard drive....then in advanced you can give the detected drives a boot priority I have concidered making the drive non bootable but I really don't know if that would work for this cause I get the feeling that for some reason...

tried every configuration...primary slave,secondary master,cable select,ect... switched ide's around k8nspro has ide giga raid so enabled and tried from there....all no go unless the second hard drive is connected... now....where did I put that gas can......hummmmm

WOW!!Strange boot issue

long story short... hit the power button ,windows BSOD'd me,used repai console and fixmbr,did'nt work,tried fixboot then fixboot AND fixmbr...no go.... lost partition table info some how....full drive no info missing but can't access it cause no partition.....install 2nd HDD to copy so I...

Boot problem solved........

had similar problem when I upgraded family...huge jump in system specs...all the $$$ went to the usual stuff...mobo,cpu,ram,HDD,ect... after perfectly "normal" install of win xp pro....could only start in vga mode....sure it started but ran slow seemed glitchy video sucked...ect...

OMG this brat deserves a whoopin'

I need about 15min or so alone with him.....too bad the parents would have to pay the medical/rehabilitation bills afterwards.....bet they would be glad to.....hummm....anyone know how to contact them???Results guarranteed 100% satisfaction so far...Russians???!!!phaw....why go easy on him...LOL
