Norton Internet Security 2010 for 3 PCs $21.98 shipped at Newegg

Your post is neither constructive nor useful. You have no data to back up any of your assertions. Your personal opinion does not create facts. Go troll somewhere else, or find some data to backup your poorly researched, uninformed opinions. So you would rather have AV/AS software that has...

Norton AntiVirus w/Antispyware 2009 FREE after rebates

allisolm, Agreed. Doomer, I doubt you've actually seen Norton 2009 in action, which, by the way, is MUCH better than what Symantec has put out in the past. If you'd used the 2009 stuff, you'd know how awesome it is. And for the low low price of free, you can't really beat that.

McAfee Internet Security 2009 3-user FREE after MIR

Again - we are talking about Norton 2009, not 2008, not 2007, and most DEFINITELY not 2006 or earlier. NIS 09 installs in ~ 60 seconds, and uninstalls in about the same amount of time. Seriously. It is WAY better than the crap Symantec used to put out. The problem Symantec runs into (as is...

McAfee Internet Security 2009 3-user FREE after MIR

A few years back != current product offerings. Symantec's 2009 product line is flat-out amazing. Fast, effective, and easy to use. Try reading up on the current state of affairs with regards to security software. Here's a link to help...

McAfee Internet Security 2009 3-user FREE after MIR

+1... McAfee's protection hasn't been worth much in years. I'd rather spend $70 on NIS 09 than get this for free. Still, I suppose weak sauce protection is better than no protection. Not by a whole lot, though.

    OCZ 4GB PC2-8500 / DDR2-1066 $29.89AR

In for this. Been waiting for some decent OCZ DDR2 2x2GB kits to go on sale. I'll be using this DDR2 rig for the forseeable future, no rush for me to upgrade quite yet. Thanks OP.

    OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

Waiting for some OCZ DDR2 1000 (or higher) 2x2GB sticks to go on sale, and then I'll probably bite.

    OCZ Reaper DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 2X2GB $4.25 AR

+1 on getting OCZ rebates, I'm 2 for 2 so far (well assuming I get the 2nd one, which they just confirmed they received my claim so seems like smooth sailing from there). Haven't heard of any problems with OCZ rebates and haven't had any problems myself.

    Norton Antivirus free after rebates

Norton 09 is amazing. I was skeptical at first too, based on my experience with their software in the past, but Norton 09 is hands down the best they've ever done. Installs in about a minute on average, uninstalls in the same amount of time, no more default blocks on Windows file/print...

    Sandisk Cruzer 16GB - 29.99, free shipping

Not a bad deal. It's nice to see the 16GB USB flash drives coming down in price. I'm waiting on a cruzer micro titanium to drop to this price or lower though, those things are indestructable.

    EVGA GeForce GTX 285 $354.99 w/free shipping

Kicking myself for picking it up a few days ago for 359.99 after MIR, but hey, it's only $20... still, I'm now thinking of picking up a 2nd card, except I don't really want two copies of COD: World at War. Actually I don't even really want one copy of it, I'd rather just have $50 off the card...

eVGA GTX 285 SC $360 AR

Got the GTX 285. Thanks OP. Was considering the 295, but... probably not going to need the extra power, and if I do, I'll just pick up another 285 down the road and throw it in SLI.

SOLVED: Antec MX-1 + Simpletech ProSpeed eSATA PCIe x1 = no eSATA connection

So I tried the eSATA cable included with the eSATA card (previously I had been using the one that came with the MX-1 enclosure) and it began working flawlessly. -1 for Antec packing cables with the drive that do not work properly.

SOLVED: Antec MX-1 + Simpletech ProSpeed eSATA PCIe x1 = no eSATA connection

I've tried two different MX-1 cases, one with a 1TB HDD inside, the other with a 250GB HDD in it, and neither is recognized when I plug them into the Simpletech ProSpeed eSATA card. The card is recognized in device manager (it's detected as a Silicon Image SiI 3132 SATALink Controller under...
