Dell inspiron 5100 problem!

Ok, my friend has got an inspiron 5100 laptop from dell. And has just txt to say she cant get online. There is no dial tone recieved on the laptop. She's tried it on different lines around the house, but still no joy. Yet her mums laptop works on the same lines. She's changed the cables etc, but...

yeah, contrast varies a lot! as does the cd/m2 thing! (brightness?). Thats a 20" 12ms widescreen dell isnt it? some people seem to accept lcd's for gaming, and some dont! is all very confusing! you can get decent hyundai CRT's with footprints 2" smaller than standard for that size. 15" footprint...

they seem few and far between. Iiyama do some 10ms ones, tho they're out of stock. The sony seems to be the only one suggesting 8ms in 17". tho i found this on another site: Hyundai L72D+ 8ms 17" LCD Monitor The Hyundai ImageQuest L72D+ has an industry leading ultra-fast 8ms response time...

Ok, a thread that obviously sounds like an echo. Basically, i am looking at getting an lcd screen for my comp. I do play games on it and watch movies. So i need a fastish screen. should i go for a 17" 16ms screen at £140. or a 17" 8ms for like £200? AND is it worth blowing £280 on a sony x-black...

help finding a wireless printer!

We are after a wireless printer now that we have 2 PC's, a laptop, and a iMac in the house. seems to make sense! We want to to print lots of pages fast! like 20/30ppm fast on black and white. But the main issue is the catridges. we want seperate colour cartidges. as those all in one cartridges...

what about this illuminated keyboard by eluminx for late night gaming? ou light lasts 60000 hours, and its got a switch so it can be on or off. its the EL light too. so subtle glow. same like as my Moto V3 RAZR keypad.

ipod mini Vs Rio Carbon Vs Muvo2

I have 20Gb Karma and love it, Apple is ok, but Rio is the best ;) Define best? Karma beat the ipod in 1 review, but not in another! the whole point of this is personal preference! I Prefer the rio personally, but hold no grudge against ipods! they are good machines! just not as good...

Average Marks Using 3dMark03 with x800pro

I have Asus k8vse MoBo, AMD 64 3200+, 1Gb PC3200 RAM, 160GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDD, x800 pro. my benchmarks, (once anandtech people advised me to install correct chipset drivers!!!) Are as follows: 20546.00 3dmark01 9940.00 3dmark04 52345 aquamark3.0 that was on the 4.8 CATS. not tried it...
