Do you guys think there will be another revision resolving some of these outstanding bugs prior to launch? I guess it's unlikely, with launch being a month away.

There's 87 job postings with AMD in Markham, 74 in Shanghai. Both locations have a mix of software & hardware engineering, and seem to focus on GPUs and APUs. The rumours about Markham's death within RTG are exaggerated...

64 core EPYC Rome （Zen2）Architecture Overview？

I thought we'd agreed on each Zen2 chip having 8 cores, 1 memory channel. The AM4-cpu-package will thus max out at two chips + IO, while TR4 will have four chips + IO.

AMD Artic Islands at TSMC, why not GloFo?

It seems like the next GCN will be, like its forebearers, manufactured at TSMC, c.f. http://wccftech.com/amd-arctic-islands-next-generation-graphics-16-nm-finfet-tsmc/. This all the while AMD uses GloFo for their APUs. I assume there would be some gains for AMD if they were able to target a...

Xbox One with DDR4?

Good points guys. I was thinking more in the line of the bandwidth being the same, albeit with slightly better latencies. The target for games would still be the original Xbox One.

Someone managed to overclock the HBM to 1ghz - 100% overlock http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?p=400893#post400893 I guess that would eliminate any latency issues HBM got at 500mhz.
