any good headsets out there?

I own them....reallllllly good. great value too. they've taken a beating too! (i'm sorry!!!) The sound quality is excellent, and the mic is real nice too. Very comfortable. edit: I got mine for $40 on amazon.

Ultra X-Connect 500W failed me twice in a row!

Well I got mine for $30, pretty cheap, so I just got one. It's not being stressed and I've only had it a week and a half but no problems at all. In fact, it's awesome for me.

got 5.6, have sen minor gains on higher resolutions with AA/AF on with a 9800 pro. Haven't run 3dmark, never will, tells lies imo.

How much does your case cost?

$40 for a Chenming 301 w/ 350W PSU and without a lower fan cut in the side window. Piece of junk imo....was okayish for a whil, hard installl.....mehhh...

Gaming Headset with Mic

I have PC-150's.....AWESOME STUFF. Really, I got them for $35 off amazon, see if you can pull something off like that too. Really, the quality if kickass, no certain range sticks out a ton, and the really low bass is actually audible for one and not ignored. Great stuff.

Thermalright XP-120 or Zalman CNPS7700-Cu?

Consider an XP-90C as well, even if 80mm fans are typically louder w/ less airflow. They do a pretty good job for about that price range. I'd go with the 7700 just because it's copper though. Close one there.

Suggestions for an HDTV

Panasonic makes awesome quality - beats out nearly everyone, even Sony runs for their money on this one. I don't know the exact model, but we got a Panasonic 42" something.....3 tuners, KICK ASS lol. No wonder my dad won't let me upgrade my comp - we're broke! *runs*

damn hell, it's whichever bloody well suits your needs. look at benchmarks etc. and make a decision for yourself. if one card goes wrong for you, stick to the other. the end!

I'd go for the X800, it'll probably give a bit more performance and last a bit longer....good luck through the financial problems. :(
