yeah i notice color shifting for sure on it. I will try to get an S-IPS, if the S-IPS impresses me a lot more than the A-MVA, I will return it and eat the restocking fee. $40. Edit: I'll just keep you guys updated on what the difference is.

I got an hp lp2065 that is an A-MVA panel made by AUO. http://www.auo.com/auoDEV/products.php?func=info&product_id=10&items_id=1 My main complaint is the "Sheen-like" quality has. Like it's reflective because no colors are solid from any angle at all even head on. See my post here...

24 inch crt's

Is there anything better yet? I was looking up the biggest CRT's available and figured high end 24's had to still be around but, no. Finally with GeForce 8800 gtx not to mention SLI, we could have run our games at 2048x1536 at a full 24 inches of CRT clarity. Reading the amazon reviews for FW900...

Hey I finally figured out how to rig my fans and have considered everything from rpm monitoring to this advanced controller device called a Alphacool T-Balancer bigNG. The software controlled Theta is a fascinating and unique device but has been seen more as a gimmick than anything else...

case fans power and control

Hi, I'm getting a case with a side 250mm fan (enermax chakra) which can be used as intake. And want to use the front and rear 120mm optional mounts as exhausts. I have never built a computer before and don't have any recent machine to compare it to. Need some pretty good cooling, going to SLI 2...

what's a GOOD, QUIET, CHEAP power supply?

Ahhh, thanks guys. I think I get it now. True that is pretty weak as far as it's 12v output, and I see what you're saying about combined wattage. I like this idea of hacking together two cheap units. Maybe 2 decent 500's to get close enough to power a good SLI rig without spending a fortune...
