RDNA 3.5 is outdated. STX used it bc it had to not by choice
makes zero sense if any new zen6 high-end gaming-oriented APU uses rdna3.5
i.e. z3 extreme will 100% be next gen
good news i got the big machine!!!!!
bad news it came with RTX 5080 instead of 5090 lmao!!!! have to wait longer now lollll
BUT already 9955hx3d + rtx 5080 compared previous 7840hs + rtx4060:
can game fluidly max fps on SILENT MODE!!!! yes lads it's real
desktop is super snappy turbo enabled...
😐lol common sense really. NPU is a stupid gimmick, everyones saying the same even engineers
the biggest medusa halo shouldn't have any NPU tbh, waste of space
there's no way medusa halo will be 3.5...... it's really suicide
RDNA 5 or bust
I bet it will be close in margins let's say 10-20% diff for the big halo
also the zen6 3d uplift in fps
yes.... this is exactly why forums with knowledgable members are the best
and exactly why forums like this are going extinct or private...... everything getting commodified and monetized..... forums provide so much free value, capitalism can't have forums, only fast paced Reddit with opaque...
even macbook air m4 is 1.6kg .... very small differences
still the lightest + fastest is rog halo 13'' at 1.2kg
anyway this debate will be 100% over when medusa comes out
~1kg mobile /w top tier desktop cpu + gpu perf close to 9700XT
