Trying to install any OS on PC without HD (only CF card)

Win98se and home network

however, when at other PCs(winxppro), I can send and get files to/from win98 machine. The purpose of this small mashine is to surf and listen to the music. It surfs fine but cannot play over the LAN. Perhaps someone old enough to remember :) can point me to the right settings in win98...

Trying to install any OS on PC without HD (only CF card)

How do you get a *clean* XP SP2 installation...?

HyperOS, using for several years now... I don't spend time and effort caring for my system, just drag-and-drop one of my many systems onto a freshly formatted partition (ca. every 6 months)

after obligatory blue screen checking my HD - .tmp file is released by my winxp and I can do whatever I want with it. Are there any less brutal ways? To unlock a file? I searched, found some apps that save video on hd, not all formats and not from all sites... dont want them.

Just time spent... nothing else. Are those sessions stored anywhere in winxp pro? If not - any utility? Ideally, every night, I want to know how many hours he spent previous day. things are getting out of control here... thanks

Booting time increased by 33 sec (I found out why!)

Nothing to do with Knoppix... A couple of days before I took out cd burner and left dvd drive as slave, after i changed jumper to master - everything was fine. It took me bloody ages to figure it out. including fresh install and bios reset (didnt help). man...

Booting time increased by 33 sec (I found out why!)

...it is my guess though. It spends 33 sec on a black windows screen with 3 blue balls moving, after that without problems it goes to blue welcome screen and everything is fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Which app is better for managing different OSs on 1 PC?

Tony: on my version of hyperos only windows are supported, switching between systems require rebooting. On their website they say the latest version support linux and instant switching. I like the ability to zip up a system and store it away for later restoration. It doesn't like seeing...
