Advice for selecting a car around $5000-8000

Perhaps G35 or 350Z . High mileage with clean titles can be had in the 8-9K range.

Is it feasible to buy a cell phone, cancel the service, pay the ETF, & keep it?

In most cases it is not. Buying straight from the carrier is ~200, ETF is ~200-300. Gotta pay first month of bill in some cases? ~80. Just buy unlock from ebay.

Amazon usually have the Canon t2i or t3i on sale + a few lenses. I've always read good reviews on their EOS line.

I'd prefer modular, but zip ties does wonder for nonmodular PSU.

Computer shuts off after a few seconds after initially turning on then back on again

Good info. My gygabyte does the same thing sometimes and I just ignore it.
