Problem Formatting Hard Drive

Well, following Indyboy2's advice, I tried a quick format and I get a message saying that Windows could not format the unit, probably because it is damaged and to try with another hard drive. So, is it definitively a hard disc problem ?

Problem Formatting Hard Drive

Hi, I have a Western Digital 200GB SATAII hard drive. The Windows Xp install recognizes the hard drive, asks me how to partition it, I choose only one partition with all the 200GB and the format begins. Up to there everything works fine. The problem is that when the format reaches 90% it stops...

3200+ Venice VS. 3700+ San Diego

Apart from the different clock speed, they aslo have different L2 cache. The 3200+ has 512Kb while the 3700+ has 1Mb. However, the cache size doesn't make a really big difference.

DFI Sli-D & Sli-Dr

Hi, I'm building a new pc and I'm trying to choose between the DFI LanParty SLI-D and the SLI-DR. What are the differneces? I read the sticky and it says that the main differneces are the packaging and So, is there anything worth in the SLI-DR package that doesn't come wth the SLI-D...

Choosing motherboard help

Hi, I'm building a gaming pc. The cpu will be a Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and the video card a 7800GT. At firts I was almost sure going for the Asus A8N-Sli Premium but I've read that people have a lot of problems with it, especially with ethernet... So, is this true? What would be a simillar...
