I bought one stick with $10 coupon, ends with paying $5 for 2 GB DDR3. This morning placed another order with $15 coupon received for the previous order of $40 2x2GB, which means this one is free. In the end I paid $45 for 4x2GB, not too shabby.
Just back from MC Westmont, IL. Got one E0 stepping Q9550 and one D0 stepping 920. Obviously that MC store has enough i7 920 in stock, as they easily found a D0 stepping 920 for me.
I have to agree with you. Once owned a 2408WFP, the S-PVA panel of it is NOT in the same league of the IPS panels. I sold mine on ebay.
The sub $400 is good though.
Exactly. The SilverStone Element ST50EF-PLUS which is a retail version of ENP-5150GH seems to have separate PCI-E cables and I suppose each of them is on different 12V rail. No surprise it can load 500W full.
My guess is that Enhance originally made these as OEM for some name brand desktops...
Indeed this is the major drawback of the Enhance, as I read someone has trouble powering HD4870 with the 2 PCI-E plugs with his ENP-5150GH, caused by the over current in one 12V rail. Unfortunately, you can't even use molex->PCI-E adapter, as they are also on the same 12V.
Look at the...
OK, I just unplug the original Antec NeoHE 380 power supply and put this Enhance on to see if it works fine. Here is what I found out:
- The 8pin (non-splitable) cpu plug does work fine natively into the 4pin mother board (in my case Gigabyte MA78G-DS3H). As the other dude says, as long as...
Mine is also picked up from Memphis, TN. Exactly the same worst package ever. Both power supplies have scratch and dents, no protection whats so ever. Hopefully the PS still functions ok. Those bastards at geeks.com
I am in the same boat. The Fedex tracking information sit in the "billing information received" for several days, nothing updated.
Just called geeks CS, and was told the package is in freight, and possibly will be handed to Fedex by the end of this week, then the web tracking information will...
You can put a Lian Li EX-33 5.5'' to 3.5'' adapter in the rocketfish case, which would add another 4 HDD space plus a 12cm intake fans for better airflow. The cost would be $40 shipped, altogether still significantly cheaper than PC-A71B.
