NE one here running Gentoo linux?

Is Konqueror web browser w/ RH 7.3 any good? Should i use netscape?

Konqueror is a SWEET browser. If it is what I am thinking it was then ITS AWSOME. You have options to interface it with another program which allows you to do something really cool. Ha hahahahahah, sorry about the vagueness of what I am saying but what I am speeking of was written in an article...

I was actually forced to go back to 2000. I started mesing with the user and system rights in XP and screwed something up. My user/admin account would not work after this so I started to reinstall XP and I apparently locked myslef out of the drive all together. Even after I wrote zeros to the...

Windows XP partitioning tool?

There are actually more things that can be done via the command line. I can't remember for sure but you may even be able to resize and convert between NTFS and FAT32. Look it up in the MS Knowledgebase, thats where I found it before.

What's a very safe way to add WinXP to WinMe system?

Actually the easiest way to do this would be to switch the boot order in the bios so that the drive with ME on it is not a bootable drive according to the bios and make you XP drive the bootable one. Or you could always jumper your Me drive to slave and your XP drive to master (soon to be xp...

Accidentally Installed 2 XP pro OS's

If you removed the line then you at leas should now not have two Default options although you may be getting the screen still. There is a way to get rid of this screen too. I can't remember off the top of my head and I am at work and do not have the accress rights to really get in and find out...

NTFS Newbie Questions

Dude, what do you mean "1. Yes and no. You can put the NT boot files on a floppy or anyother removable bootable media (NTLDR, NTDETECT.COM, and BOOT.INI), but, and REALLY BUT, you will only be able to boot into one of your NT installations on your HD. You cannot boot into NT off just a floppy...

Accidentally Installed 2 XP pro OS's

Do a search for the boot.ini file and then open this in word pad. Remove the extra OS boot line and that is it. As for the dynamic disk option I am not sure about this one. Is it an option in disk management or an option in storage? Any was in disk management you will see your hard drives...

Properties not working in Win2K

Are you loging in under an account that you created or the admin account that was created when you installed windows? Most liley what is going on here is that whatever account you are logging in under is restricted in some way. Might just be a user account which does not allow you to access...

Windows 2000 Pro Bypass Password

I guess I am using server. My bro gave it to me. Yes its legal (incase someone wants to flame me). "Store bought" version with certificate and everything. Never payed attention to what version it was assumed it was pro. I wonder if he meant to give me server? Hmmmmm. Better ask him about this.
