Case fans

Hi all.. I have a Chieftec Dragon Midi Tower here housing a P4 2.6C... The only fans except CPU, NB and VGA are one 80mm in the front moving 23cfm @ 25dB (in front of the case, blowing air past the HDDs towards the CPU) and two in my PSU (Enermax). The temps inside are kinda high, so I guess I...

P4 2.6c temps

:-( After about an hour of working (no CPU intensive tasks though - renaming files and stuff), the temps rised to 51/38/51...

P4 2.6c temps

Well, till now I got now other fans... I just put the side panel fan to the front, now it's sucking air from the front and blowing it past the HDDs towards the CPU. I guess I need at least to add a fan in the back, blowing the hot air from the CPU out? Right now my idle temps are 45/34/51...

Dual Monitor

For normal work I'd need two different desktops, for gaming one monitor will be enough, so I wouldn't mind the second either showing the same image or being even turned off.

All my video is black/white - tv, avi, divx, etc.

I guess this must be some problem with the gfx card driver or maybe DirectX... Have u tried reinstalling them?

Dual Monitor

I just saw this review of the Radeon 9500Pro - it looks kinda fast and seems to support dual CRTs. What makes me wonder is that the review states "Smart modders can turn the card into a 9700 Pro" - how is that done? Is this card still a good choice - I guess it was superceded by the 9600Pro...

CPU COOLING FAN AMD ATHLON XP 2500+ Barton

I'd take either some Papst fan if u'd like a quiet system, or go for a TMD fan, they offer better performance. Generally I'd take the DP-101 heatsink with some 70mm TMD fan - gotta be a great combination...
