Haven’t played the previous games but I’ve enjoyed the 6 or so hours I played of it. There are definitely issues though. I have a 8700k and a 1080ti on a 1080p monitor and I was getting FPS issues. Was bearable but the experience wasn’t smooth. I’ve been traveling for work this week so hopefully...
This pretty much captures exactly how I feel. I feel for those people since at one time I was that young high school / college age kid building my PC and getting the mid level cards but it still being enough and enjoying the entire process. Sure I can afford these cards at these price points...
Still running a 970, been waiting and waiting for the next cards to come out. Was getting an itchy finger but the prices and availability of cards currently has allowed me to continue to wait.
The Strix boards have been updated to address the issue I assume the Maximus would be as well if it hasn't already.

There was a thread regarding the above bios release posted a day or two ago by ASUS saying it was...
I'm hoping to just migrate but we will see how it goes. Not sure if I'll be able to or not since my last mb died and I'm not sure what my Win 10 key was when I did the upgrade from 7. I never signed in with a MS account.
Yep Newegg just charged me as well. Just logged into the site and it estimated to ship tomorrow.
Ordered at sometime between 3:15 and 3:25est for those wondering regarding if their order will be sent. I'm in Indy for work anyway right now so not going to mind not having the 2 day shipping as...
So woke up just after 3am est and got a back ordered 8700k off newegg. When I woke up at 7:30 local microcenter site did not have anything on it. On my way to microcenter from the office is up now and showing out of stock (as of around 8:45) and at a price of $500. RIP Even if it was in stock I...
Any advice on picking out a motherboard? I've been looking a bit (ASUS and ASrock so far) and know I want ATX and need a board that will OC my memory to at least 3600 which I believe pretty much all the boards I've looked at have that capability. I don't really care about RGB I bought a Define...
Well it is nice when the information is all in one easy to find and convenient location. Multiple people have asked nicely to drop the subject. Take it to another thread or PMs please.
Personally I'd wait the month and see how the 8700k compares to the 7700k/Ryzen as Dave said. My motherboard just died and I'm actually still trying to hang in there and wait. The 8700K has the potential to be such a beast I don't want to order now and be kicking myself for the next 5 years...
Mixture of stuff. I recently sold my previous graphics card after I upgraded. The rest of my stuff is either collecting dust or has gone to friends/family.
