Need some 2.1 speakers reccomendations

Give a listen to the Altec Lansing 621 series. Excellent sound and a good price. $118.00 shipped from Newegg. The highs don't "whine" and the bass is super on these babies.

How often does your computer freeze up while hot swapping a USB device?

Never, and you shouldn't see sparks. There are definitely other problems such as a loose ground, or bent USB connector. Is it always the same USB port?

Anyone out there have these speakers and do they have an earphone jack? From what I gather reading reviews there is one on the remote, but I can't verify this on their web site. Thanks in advance.

The ASUS TUSL2-C does support 512K Tualatins. I have both board and the Processor and it's a great combination. With 512 Meg of memory it makes for a solid fast system.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers for the 8500 from ATI? If so then go into control panel and select add/remove and select the current drivers to remove them. If the Windows drivers aren't listed load the ATI drivers. They should just overwrite the Windows drivers. Worked for me on an...
