so i read on the asus website :
4 x 240-pin DIMM sockets support max. 8GB DDR2 800/ 667/ 533 ECC and non-ECC memory
so ECC memory as well ..
oh my bad.. it's the deluxe version..
but ok.. my question remains.. will the 400Mhz of the ecc memory be sufficient for the e6400/e6600...
i'm looking to build a server as well..
I already have some parts.. for example : 2x 512 and 2x 1Gb IBM (samsung chips) DDR2 ECC PC3200 ..
does anyone know if the ASUS P5W DH will boot up with 3Gb ECC DDR2 (normally ecc is supported) and a E6600 ?
some of my friends say that E6600 needs...
