That is a good deal, but if you don't mind getting oem you can get a Tbird 750 for $72 from upgradeplanet.com. I have ordered from them before and they are a good company. The Tbird has 256K of on-chip L2 cache while the Duron is equipped with 64K.

TDK 50 spindle at costco for 19.95 after rebate

A while back it was $39 with a $15 instant rebate here....I bought many spindles of these when they were $50 each, no deals. They are high quality cds.

I want 3 30-50 gig 7200 rpm ata100 drives to use in an ide raid setup, need a good site to buy these from, hopefully with an instant coupon at that site in addition to rebates. I want an adapter to use a 2.5 mm jack plantronics over-the-ear headset on my frs radios that have separate jacks!

256MB SDRAM PC-133 for $91

I have bought from pccost many times and never had a problem. They gave me a new floppy drive for free when mine died a few months after I got it, and I have built systems for friends with the majority of components purchased there. Their customer service is pretty good. Not amazing, but...

64mb Corsair PC133 - $36

LIke I said earlier, it's designed to compete with the low priced generic ram, and without it, Corsair would have a lot less customers, since it's main line of memory is high end. It's still better than generic memory, because having the Corsair name on it means it will work at the advertized...

It will work at the advertized speed, but you will not be able to run it one mhz above spec. It's designed to compete with generic memory.

Update: I was prepared to order at $186, and return the $202 dimm I bought saturday, but upon refreshing my browser the price shot up to $197 and the order box has been replaced with *call. I have not yet decided wether to keep my $202 memory or return it, since I still have to pay shipping on...

HOT, Soundblaster Live! 5.1 for cheap!!

The platinum 5.1 does come with some nice EAX games too, including Thief 2, MDK 2, Unreal Tourney, and Deus X. Considering I had only UT, that was an important factor in my choice of the PLatinum. Also, the remote and live drive 2 are extremely cool. Since I have a DAT and a minidisk recorder...

Matt, the 15% off does make it cheaper, you simply still have the cookie from crucial in your cache. delete that cookie or use another browser, and you will see that the web prices are 15% higher.

If you overclock you often have better results with only 1 or 2 slots used instead of 3 or 4. You will have a more stable machine at higher bus speeds with one dimm instead of 2.

Thanks for the reply sygyzy, but I was referring to something a little more like the plantronics mobile phone headsets, like this: http://www.us.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10229972&loc=101 The large headset offered by panasonic would not fit under bike helmets, nor be comfortable...
