Tower Won't Boot (?!??!)

I forgot to mention, one (and only one) of the DVD drives also works. I know that just because the fans come on doesn't mean the power supply is OK - but the fans come on, the lights come on, the central DVD drive operates (I assume the others require the system loaded to function, some of them...

Tower Won't Boot (?!??!)

I simply cannot figure out what is wrong with Lucifer (my Windows desktop). Ever since some random day last semester, she won't boot up - in fact, the motherboard won't even POST. At first I thought it was a processor problem, so I replaced my 1.53 GHz AMD Athlon 1800+ XP with a 1.6 GHz AMD...

Windows 98 and Apple Airport

To make a long story short, my dad's an Apple fanboy and when he and his girlfriend move in together in July they're going to need a way to network their computers - he wants to use the Airport network he's already established for his equipment. I don't know how familiar anyone here is with...

gf4mx440 OR gf3ti200 ??

Actually, if you look at the benchmarks, the GeForce4 MX performs very poorly. It's definitely worth the approx. US$60 extra for the GeForce3 Ti200. -Forsaken

Woohoo! Awesome overclock on Ti450

I just finally contstructed my system, and was successfully able to overclock my Gainward GS Ti450 to 255/525...haven't tried higher yet, so who knows what the limits are :D Those speeds gained me a 3dMark2001 score of 8643. I'm working on an Athlon 1800+ XP, a 512mb stick of Mushkin PC2100 DDR...

Once again, it's not like everyone goes around with a patch on their shoulder saying "I am gay," "I am straight," "I am bi." By his behaviourisms and lack of girlfriend my friends and I decided chances are he might be gay, which isn't necessarily untrue. -Forsaken
