How do I disable the on-board sound correctly so that my sound card (Audigy 2 ZS) will work? I tried disabling the driver in decive manager, then rebooting, as I thought it would auto-detect my card. However, it didn't. I then installed the Audigy drivers, but am getting no sound out of my...

IEEE 1394b on Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9

I have just installed this motherboard but I can't seem to get my network/ethernet working. Do I need to plug in a cable somewhere? I see a 1394 cable and a socket labeled 1394, but the pins don't seem to match up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone ever had a problem installing Windows XP with this motherboard? I have a Seagata SATA 160 GB hard drive and the windows install can format/partition it, but when I reboot and it says its going to continue the install, it just keeps starting from the beginning. Is this because it is...

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but this is my first time building a box from scratch. I'm using an AMD 64 3500+ w/ the K8NF-9 nForce4x board. Do I have to do anything to explicitly set the clock speed in the BIOS, or does it automatically do this? I'm confused as to what 'CPU Frequency' and 'K8...
