Need advice on MacBook Air: New vs. Used

Looking for some advice on how to get best bang for my buck. I'm looking for a smallish, ultra portable laptop for heavy office work, web, watching videos, and light photo work. I use a Windows 7 PC at home for work, gaming, and heavy Adobe work, so this won't be my main rig by any means...

Which Windows OS for Eee 1001P?

After weeks of research, getting ready to pull the trigger on Asus Eee PC 1001P and trying to decide whether to get upgrade to Full W7 or install XP SP3 over the W7 Starter that comes stock. Any advice on which way to go? The upgrade to W7 Home Premium is $40 and XP I already have. Thanks!
