I know that there are tons of post asking which is the best video card but I am pretty confused. Could someone post what is the best to middle to worst video card with a short description why for the average user. For gamers and occasional gamers. I am building a computer for the neighbor girl...

Before this happened I installed Drive Image and that's when I could only boot to verifying DMA. It would not boot to windows but it would read a disk. If you manage to get it to only read the a floppy disk try
put a windows boot disk in
at the a prompt type fisk/mbr
reboot

Thanks for the explaination Stormrider. I <unfortunatly> have the creative DVD player and can't even get their own software to work with it. I can get it to work with WinDVD so I guess that is ok. Hopefully when I reformat that may help...who knows
thanks again
Slikkster I edited that line out and I'm still here. Thanks I wonder, I was having a very slow post before editing and now it's fast. Would this have had anything to do with it?
thanks again
Thanks Slikkster I'll edit it and see if I am still running without it. I really don't understand config.sys, I've built many computers and didnt have to full around with it.
I do have another question if you don't mind or anyone else who could answer

this is what is in the config.sys file
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\setver.exe
I have a computer with same motherboard and chip and this is what I read in the config.sys fileDEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE
