hmmmmm I have no idea about this subject so if my post makes no sense, pay no attention.
If greater speed = slower time then even small changes in speed shuld affect time? Even if we're splitting hairs, surely time is going at even a minute fraction slower wen I am travelling in my car...
If its only WOW stuttering its likely an internet issue... cable tends to b unreliable from wat I've heard. Make sure u dont have any spyware or applications consuming your bandwidth
well buffers are just basicly temporary storage while burning... Usually they do not slow down unless your cpu is somehow prevented from processing the data faster than the DVD is burning... but that SHOULD cause a buffer underun.
It is perculiar... but if you hit 10x then it just looks like...
Time is very interesting, it plagues all of us! I do believe that time is infact different from different perspectives, for instance an insect actually sees things slower than us.
So time is both a perception and a reality. Time as we percieve it is just the unfolding of events, but physicaly...
Believe it, vertical syncronisation matters. it is not card dependant, rath it is monitor dependant. Vertical sync attempts to relieve tearing by matching your frame-rate to your refresh rate... If you are running CS:S @ 60Hz then the drop will be rather dramatic... turn it off please, or...
A normal 6800 is not faster than a 6800GT, what r u talking about?
It goes like this in order of speed:
6800 - Average
6800GT - Fast
6800ULTRA - Very fast
Actually the difference between them isn't dramatic, its not like were talking about different generations here, but it's still...
I have this theory that if you could travel out in space far enough so that you are receiving light from the earth that is 100 years old, then get a telescope powerfull enough to see the surface of the earth from that distance, you could actually see the events of that time unfolding... it is by...
I am WAY out of my league here, but i'll cast my opinion anyway.
IMO, energy can be used in a reaction that produces mass, however actuall particles of energy cannot be exchanged for mass.
I think this is largely because energy is as the driving force behind the reactions between particles...
CRT monitors tend to get a lot of tearing with faster frame-rates, because the graphics card is displaying images faster than the monitor can refresh... and on low refresh rates some people can actually see the monitor updating or flickering.
Apparently with LCD screens this deosn't occur...
I have thought about this myself, but it is impossible. For a start there is no reason you would integrate the card into the motherboard, it would take up more room than it does now.
Secondly, if were able to upgrade RAM on the card, it could be a potentially dangerous process...
For...
Actually I don't believe man landed on the moon GILBY! You would need at least 10ft of lead to protect those inside the shuttle from being subjected to the suns highly dangerous levels of radiation. In comparison, those shuttles (on the moon) had nothing more than a couple of layers of steel and...
I think every religious person on the planet agrees with evolution. We see mutations on a daily bases, the problem is the "HOLES in evolution," the stuff that makes no sense.
The primary difference in opinion between creationism and evolution is:
EVOLUTION: The world was triggered by a...
