I have an original mac 5gb ipod. Whenever i try to connect it via firewire to my comp, my computer freezes. I have windows 98se. Is that my problem?

flash file?

ok i got this flash animation that i wanna put in a powerpoint presentation, but the problem is that powerpoint won't accept this type of file(.swf). What can i do? I know that powerpoint accepts the standard movie formats (mpeg, avi, etc), can i somehow convert the .swf file to one of those...
