replacement for dead 939 motherboard

I ended up going with the foxconn 6150. I get BSODs and freezes all the time. I totally reinstalled windows. One issue may be the 8500 nvidia graphics card i have in the pci express slot. the system seems more stable using the onboard video, but then I can't play any games

did that, but i still have problems. the system works much better if I pull out my 8500 nvidia card from the PCIEx slot. I'd like to try and disable the internal video

I have this motherboard and I am experiencing some errors with it. in linux, the screen gets distorted and dots appear, then the computer freezes. is there a way to turn of the onboard grapics?

Recommend a network switch for home?

I have about 20 network capable devices in my house. phone, media streaming, and so on. Can anyone recommend a swtich with about 20 ports?

replacement for dead 939 motherboard

The processor I had with the ECS board is the AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 2.4GHz It looks like I could the the foxconn mentioned above for about $56. I was hoping to avoid a windows reinstall. If I'm not avoiding that, I'm willing to spend an extra $50 and get a better system.

I have an ECS nforce4 motherboard (socket 939) that recently died. I was able to return it for a refund, but still have the CPU and such. Am I better off going with an AM2 socket board and scrapping my CPU or another 939 socket based board?

socket A or 754 for cheap sempron based system

Thanks everyone!! the 754 is ordered with a sempron I'm doing a big favor for someone who's system died and I needed to make a decision quick. They need to be up and running by next weekend. Thanks to all of you, I made the right one.
