Any 120Hz IPS panels on the horizon? I'm pretty happy with my Dell 2209WA so far, but I will only get rid of it if something better comes up.

Abit IP35 + Q9550 issue

Wait a sec, is this beta bios above more recent than the 18 posted on ABit`s website and dated 2008/05/30? I just got a C1 q9550 for my IP35 (plain), and having a lot of trouble o/cing it. Does not seem to get even to 3.4GHz with some high volts.

New Catalyst 10.7 available now!!

10.7 seems noticeably snappier for win7 aero than 10.6. Otherwise in games I haven't noticed any substancial difference. Also nice is VLC HW accelaration.

Windows 7 on Abit ip35 pro ?

Sorry to resurrect the post, but I'm having a similar issue (although a have a plain IP35 - Not the IP35-E, just IP35). If I enable AHCI in the BIOS (or RAID), the installation says it cannot install on the hard drive. I tried to download "F6" drivers from Intel, no luck. Just being clear...

GTX260 stuck in high-performance 3d mode

You nailed it, buddy. I have a LCD TV that I use as a second monitor to watch movies, etc. Even when the TV is off I usually keep the monitor activated in Windows to save time. Disabling it immediately forced the card back to low power mode. Thanks!

GTX260 stuck in high-performance 3d mode

Thanks guys, unfortunately nothing helped. Very strange, I think I'll roll back to the previous driver version to see if it does anything.

GTX260 stuck in high-performance 3d mode

I have an eVGA GTX260 with the newest drivers, and running rivatuner it appears the card is not lowering its clocks when in 2d mode (300MHz core or so), like it used to. Stays constantly at 626MHz (mine is factory OC'ed). Anyone experienced this?

Need to buy a card until April 6th...

Yeah, it seems that MAYBE the GTX275 will have 240 stream processors, but more likely only 216 with a bump in clock speeds which should be compensated for the most part with me getting an OC GTX260. And I read they will only be available after April 12th, so no game for me either way.

Need to buy a card until April 6th...

Tiger has the same card for $214 (very close to Amazon), and they seem to accept my card and ship to US. Nice to know, thanks. EDIT: Brazil is not on their country list to register an account, so it seems i'm out of luck.

It's an E8400 @ 3.6GHz, my monitor is currently a Sony G420 CRT, so I'll game at either 1280x960 or 1600x1200 with everything on (AA and AF).
