I've been using the onboard sound of my 680i mobo and want something that will ouput 5.1 to my A/V reciever either by optical or coaxial for surround in games.
I also need something that will work under Vista 32bit, ive been eyeing up the Turtle Beach Montego seems decent and a good price...
I just picked up a XFX 8800gt and im thinking my P-D 3.2 is kinda weak, wanna do a cheap but worthwhile cpu upgrade. Budget for the cpu is $150 MAX. Ill be putting it in a p5gc basic entry level asus board with corsair 2gig 667 value ram, thanks..
Ok so i decided i needed to spend a little more so i ended up grabbing a 8800gts.
i can run gears of war decently at 1400x900 with alot of the settings on high but during heavy action parts there is lag..
So im thinking of upgrading my cpu from a PD 3.2 to something a little more powerful...
Want to get into some of the newer DX10 games and i dont think my x1300 is gonna cut it

here in canada i havent found anything close to 20 for a wireless nic, im not a fan of buying stuff online, so im kinda limited to what i can find at BB, futurecrap or ma and pa stores. Besides how much is all this wire gonna cost?

dlink wirless g router is like 90
3 wireless g nics about 80 each
total is about 330 plus tax
Gonna be moving into a townhouse in a few weeks and im just wondering if there's a guide somewhere on how to install network cable between floors, there will probably be 3 or so computers on the network, i dont wanna bother with wireless because of the cost and slow speed.
