Question about CPU voltage and overclocking

I don’t overclock a lot so pardon if this is a stupid question. I have a 6700K and when it is not overclocked and sitting idle the voltage on the CPU drops well below 1v. Once a load is placed on the CPU the voltage jumps to 1.28v to 1.29v. If I increase the voltage in the bios to overclock...

Looking for an entry level gaming card ~$50

A friend of mine just used the $50 off $100 Best Buy coupon found in the "Hot Deals" forum and got a Nvidia 650 GTX for $65. This is probably the best you can do at that price point.

GTX 680 Longevity question

As I don't keep up with what is in the pipeline as much as I use to; can someone who does help me out? I remember purchasing the 480 GTX only to be miffed when 6 months later they came out with the 580 GTX back in 2010. I want to buy the GTX 680 but I would wait if there is something better...

Patriot Torqx2 64GB SSD less than $1/GB at Fry's B&M 59.99 after 20.00 MIR

Is it worth keeping a card for Phsyx anymore?

At idle (i.e. surfing the web, etc) it adds about 10 watts. While playing a game it adds anywhere between 50 to 70 watts.

So my son plays little league football and his team is the eagles. I'm trying to take an existing image of a helmet and replace the helmet decal with the one from my sons team. Is there a way to do this with Photoshop Elements and make it look good? I have the base helmet image and the decal...

Overclocking Intel G45 and using the Integrated Graphics

Yeah that would be the best; I was building this system for a friend and trying to keep it as cheap as possible. My friend doesn't game so I was thinking he could get away with integrated graphics. The only way I noticed this issue is when I installed Google Earth which uses 3D acceleration.

Overclocking Intel G45 and using the Integrated Graphics

So I'm trying to overclock a Shuttle barebones system with Intel G45 chipset and an E6400. The chip will do 3.2 GHz easy (8x400) and is Prime stable. As soon as I start a 3D app the system crashes immediatly. I back the system down to 2.66 GHz (8x333) and 3d apps work fine. I'm guessing the...
