Low FPS in The Chronicles of Riddick - Escape From Butcher Bay??

I believe that enabling the higher shader option kills performance quite a bit too. I forget the exact option, but I believe there was a 2.0+ option that you should try disabling, even with your high end hardware.

Why doesnt madden ever tell you what all the controls are?

It says in the manual under the incredibly appropriate "Kicking Game" section on page 8. Button 4 on a gamepad, E with the Keyboard, or C using Keyboard and Mouse configuration.

New WD Raptor Help

Nope, i can't even get into the BIOS screen now with the Raptor plugged in to any of the SATA connectors since it restarts, and hitting DEL during the memory test doesn't seem to work. Any adjustments i need to make with it unplugged, so I can't tell if it is recognized. I think my BIOS shows...

I've tried with all of the IDE cables unplugged, and still no luck. I also updated to MSI's latest 1.A BIOS, and no matter what i try the system will startup and show the memory test and CPU ID, and then reboot. I'm not sure what BIOS settings would effect this. The only ones are to...

Well, the hanging on my system's startup is the main issue, since it appears that it isn't even being detected. I don't believe that it should even be taking that long for the system to even start booting off the CD, so i don't think its a driver issue during the Windows installation. I can't...

very low 3dmark03 scores on my machine

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum owners...

It's been pretty hot here lately in my bonus room, so idle right now is about 44, under load is about 58. Venice 3000+ at 2.5 GHz, just using the retail heatsink/fan. Really tempted to get a XP-90 though.

Does the MSI Neo2 K8N Platinum support Venice out of the box?

Darn it, tried buying an Antec 430 watt True Power today at CompUSA and didn't have any more luck. So i'm assuming it has to be either the motherboard, the CPU, or the connection between them. I guess i can try picking up a motherboard to try out and return the power supply i just bought...

I ordered the parts together from Newegg but not part of an official combo. I took a look at the CPU pins the other night and they didn't appear to be bent to me. I'll try the motherboard battery when i get back from work. I've plugged and unplugged the motherboard connectors at least a dozen...

Well, the CPU would only fit into the socket one way, so i don't think that's necessarily the issue as there really isn't any way to reseat the CPU any other way :P I did remove the CPU at least 3 or 4 times while cleaning it and trying to reseat various fans and heatsinks. As for thermal...
