I tried a search for "text size" but got nuttin.
I tried "customize" but didn't see any way to set text size.

Am I missing the obvious? Please help.
snow,
".....(gotta love those classy GeForce frying Abit KG7s) "
I must have missed something. What's that about?
I've got a KG7-RAID on the way. It better not fry my $300 Gainward Geforce3.
Follow up.
When I reported 88Mbps I was using NetCPS. It tests thruoghput only (NICs and cables). It excludes the slow down from your hard drives.
You can get it here: http://www.nfe.com/winfiles/net-manage/net-manage.html
When I actually copy a file I can see a big difference between my...
I didn't know about the difference a Cardbus PCMCIA NIC makes.
I had an older PCMCIA NIC that turned out to be Cardbus. That made all the difference in the world.
My transfer speed went from 10Mbps to 88Mbps!
I've been trying different things to get faster file transfer speeds with my "10/100 Fast Ethernet Network Adapters" but I can't seem to get much over 10 Mbps.
This is just peer-to-peer from a desktop to a laptop with a crossover cable. I've tried it using NeTBEUI or TCP/IP and the...
I did a search at 3Com and got three results.

It looks like they're saying Win98se has the drivers in a cab file. The 2nd and 3rd links talk about the drivers.
well, what do ya know, the Intel NIC works.
I Got the Intel InBusiness 10/100 NIC. The didn't have the Intel Pro.
The speed is the same as the D-Link though.
bexOrs - Wow, I didn't realize they were that cheap on-line.
It was purchased on a corporate credit card. There's a problem buying stuff on-line with corporate cards. The buyer/delivery address doesn't match the corporate card address. It's a big hassle.
I usually try to get the best deals...
RichieZZZZ -- they had some Intel NICs. With all the trouble I've had, I passed them by thinking my box must be pretty pickey about NICs -- surely my asus/athlon box would spit that Intel back out (nothing against Intel).
Maybe an Intel is just what I need to be compatible with the Dell...
I thought the problem might be related to the laptop/desktop combination. I've posted about this problem many times (here and other forums) wondering if anyone else had this type of problem. Thanks for responding.
Since I'm new at networking I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or if...
DJMiX -- your response seems to be the concensus. You're the 3rd person with the same advice.
BTW - I've read peoples opinions (on the forums) that 3Com is the best and D-Link rates way down on the list. I was trying to get hardware that would give me the fastest file transfer speeds.
With...
First off, I'm still a networking newbie.
On my first attempt at networking I had a problem connecting a $40 3Com NIC (in asus/athlon box) with a 3Com SH572B PC-Card in my Dell Latitude laptop.
The Problem was/is that you can see the remote computer in Network Neighborhood but cannot connect...
I posted this in another thread with little response. Thought I'd give it one more try.
The first time I tried peer-to-peer networking I had an oddball compatibility problem. For some reason my 3Com 3CSOHO100-TX 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI NIC wouldn't communicate with two different 3Com PC-Card...
