CPU Temp question

Orangat, does the BIOS update fix how the pc reads the CPU temp or is there actually a problem with the temperature and it's fixing it. I don't wanna flash the BIOS because I'm not sure how to do it and was told it could fry my motherboard if I did it wrong. If it's just reading it wrong but...

CPU Temp question

I just setup my soltek 939 k8tpro, this is what's being read. I have This for a cpu fan/heatsink, 2 fans by the cpu and one case fan. Is thie cpu temp a little high, as far as i know my heatsink/fan is on my cpu correctly. Thanks CPU Die: 47 RT1: 22 Fan1: 2163 Fan2: 998 - 1004 CPU...

Hmm, well. I went to a friend of my dad's who knows alot about computers and computer code, older guy, and he swears by asus. Should I get this soltek or should I wait a little longer to find a good asus board (though I really don't wanna wait any longer). This is my first pc and I am learning...

Motherboard Help

Here's my problem, I bought this motherboard for my pc. I just learned today from Best Buy who did a diagnostic test on it that the motherboard is defective as far as the memory area is concerned. I'm sending it back to newegg, and I wanna get this computer done, i've been putting it together...

Dual Channel Memory problem

yet another problem. I have a dual ddr400 corsair memory stick (2 512). Windows only reads 512, setup correctly, swapped spots, still not working. Was gonna update bios but it says not to unless you now what you're doing (which i don't). Suggestions?

Windows Xp install problem

Well, i got my computer to work fine. I pulled my mouse outta the back USB port when turning on and then plugged back in when it was on. Which leads to my next problem. The mouse problem obviously, why does it not load up with mouse in UBS. And when it does, windows loads reaalllyy slow. Any...
