How has Dfi been (for those Dfi owners) Also how has the Msi been (for msi owners)

I'm a proud owner of my DFI, it rocks. No problems at all. Updated bios yesterday and instealled Ntune provided by their site. Worked out very nicely.

Reccomend me an LCD

The LG looks way nicer, and weighs about 6 pounds lighter. The Dell only comes with 90 day warranty where as the LG comes with 3 year quickswap warranty. I'd rather purchase a product from LG over Dell even though it'd cost more. Dell has max 60hz over LG's 75hz. Bad experience with...

new computer problem

When you have your power supply plugged in just to the motherboard, I'm pretty sure the LEDs should light up to show you that the mobo is getting power, but of course the mobo won't actually run until you push the power button.

Strange shut down

Try monitor on a computer that doesn't have that problem. That way you can figure out whether its the monitor or the system. Also, when does the monitor tend to shut off: randomly, or at distinct events.

Make sure your RAM is seated properly. Try a different stick, or if you have 2 try 1 in one slot and then try in another slot with only that 1. Then repeat with 2nd stick of RAM. Try to unplug harddrive, cd-rom, audio, usb, light wires. Only have ram plugged in and video card try powering it...

I didn't think about buying that one b/c it has a higher latency than the monitors I was looking at and also a $397 price tag. Otherwise, it looks like a great monitor. Some very good reviews off the Newegg.com site.

Athlon 64 overclocking motherboards
