its more like 40fps, and yes it is more then playable, so i am happy. "resolution from 2003" you have to explain me this one.. ^_^ Max Resolution : 2048 x 1536 / 69Hz= LG F900P (some nice CRT I used to have). well, I have more then 1 PC in my possession. i3 based laptop.(and some more).

Amdahl's Law has nothing to do with your claim, I have never claimed that 1000 cores will give you X1000 improvement. (it will not, its is obvious). I am coder in my profession, and I am telling you there no significant difference in the code for x cores and 100X cores, what kind of example...

what are you talking about? are you a coder?! there no difference at all(or very small), in code for 2 cores and 1000 cores, yes there is big difference from 1 core and >1, but there no way to avoid this, multi core is the future.

I don't mind playing 720P, I never said anything about 1080P. (I am not such a big gamer anyway). when I said I am not limited in any way I was talking about the cpu, not the gpu part.

your believes are irrelevant. I didn't say anything about 1080P, but you can set medium setting and play 1680X1050(My native) or highest settings possible(37 fps), 1280X800, and this I call playable+. i3 not better in any practicle way then a10-5800K, I don`t really care about benchmarks...

to be honest, no way you will ever feel difference between i5\i7, in term of gaming, yes the gpu will be your bottleneck.

no, I am just saying that Low weight+good battery life laptop, + you want gaming? it must have discrete gpu, this combination will cost you great money, you are buying laptop, so there many things you have to consider before you asking i5 or i7? (it is not the most important).

i7 based laptop=many $$$$$. (laptop with good battery life) other wise, it is just small desktop pc, plugged to an electricity socket.

1)well, I don't feel limited in any way, and I use my computer for programing projects(not to havy projects). 2)i3 is not any better then a10-5800kk, in any practical way. 4)you are forgetting that "i3 plus HD7770 or even 7750"+ decent mobo for intel(like mine f2a850m) will end up in much more...

good point, you can buy a10-5800K as a start(as i did), and later decide that you want play more demanding games, for now i am happy with my apu, in a year or so i will upgrade new gpu, now can you see the logic? for 300$ pc i can run gta4 with playfull+ settings, intel user can only dream pay...
