Joystick problems......confused

Have MS 3D pro and 3D Pro Plus. Have tried both and get not connected on both. Tried downloading patch and updated driver. Still have the same thing. Tried 3 different sound cards, that didn't work either. AMD TB 1 ghz Asus A7V I have no conflicts and the device manager says that the device is...

Crazy boot process

Asus A7V....TB 1ghz Problem: when i boot up the system goes through the process as far as the Win98 screen poping up. Then it reboots on its own. Loads completely and works fine. Why the double boot? Any help would be appreciated. Gary

Am I ok on temp?

Athlon TB 1ghz A7V Asus Temp according to Asus Probe monitor says that I am running at 43 C under normal use and 45 C under heavy game conditions on the CPU. MB stays at 25 C all the time. Is this temp about the norm for this type of system? At what point should I set the warning level on...

A7V help needed

Just put together my first Athlon/Asus A7V system. Have some questions on setting up the via drivers and ATA 100. Here is what happened so far: Fdisk,Format, Installed Win 98 2nd edition. All worked fine and windows seemed to be very stable. Installed Video, Sound, and Modem cards. No problems...

Is this a good TV Tuner Card?

:D I have been using the ATI All in Wonder for 2 yrs and never have had a problem. Very good res up to half screen. Full screen is a little grainy.
