how do you guys double post?

Yeah, sometimes the page doesn't change for quite a while after I click 'Reply'.After waiting a while you give up on it and hit reply again. I now open a new window to check and see if it went through before hitting reply again. It seems like it always fails after the reply is sent.

Yes, we should lift the embargo. Why is it that we believe a country must be punished because we don't agree with their leadership? In my opinion, if we gave the Cuban people a taste of freedom, and a little economic boost, they would be a much better enemy to Castro than they are now. Besides...

Hal, huh? Someone has a dark sense of humor. This is interesting, but, say you have a CPU that spent years reinventing itself to run this nuclear power plant, and it fries. How do you replace it? How long before the new chip can even run the power plant? What if the circuits have also evolved...

Yeah, I walk fast too. I don't know what these people are strolling around for, I have places to go. Don't they know that? It really irritates me at the store, as I always go in knowing what I want, go right to it, grab and cash out. How much of their lives are spent loitering around checking...

Interesting thing happened this morning (related to school shootings)...

In these days of lawsuits and blame the police attitudes, the FBI can't afford not to investigate every threat. If it was at my kids school, I'd want them to.

I suppose the musclecars from my era have tainted my view on fast. Some of them may not have actually been much faster than todays sports cars, but when you're doing over 120 in a 60's vintage car, it seems a lot faster than it does in todays quiet, well behaved cars. 150 in my 65 mustang seemed...

need some info on pregnancy tests

I think the good meaning folks here are a little too negative. The odds of getting pregnant in any one event are about 100 to 1 against depending mostly on her cycle (late midcycle is most likely). Less if he actually didn't ejaculate.(sometimes there is some sperm containing pre-ejaculate fluid...

Napalm, my daily driver is a 96 Dodge 3/4 ton truck. The poor thing won't go over 95mph at any time, but it would haul a house down the freeway at that speed. This doesn't mean that I can't have a fast car too, does it? Why do those guys trick out their economy cars? I suppose when mom and dad...
