On my computer I get internet activity when there should be none. (scaned for viruses, turned off updates ect.) So is there any good program which would enable me to find out what is using my internet?? firewall maybe? Anythign besides firewall?

dual core

hmm but AMD did begin with this way of marking theyr CPUs to compare to Intels Cpus, Athlon XP 3000+ is suposed to be equivalent of P4 3.0Ghz. I take it its no longer acurate? btw I'm kind of new to the whole dual core setup, is it as good as Multiple CPU setup? Also how does Dualcore compare...

I was wondering if procesor that is labeled 4400+ dualcore is running at 2200 each core or both cores at 4400, (the actual clock on AMD is probably different I know). basicaly if the clock of the two cores adds up to the actual speed of the CPU ro if the cores both run at top CPU speed.. Or is...

what to do with 20 old computers?

there is a software that comes with 3ds max specificaly for this, you need to install it on all the machines, set it up, activate it and than from the "main" machine that has the whole version of the softaware(like 3dsmax5) you select network rendering. I'v realy just done it with Brice 5...

Is it possible to build a NB like you can normal PC? I know that there are barebone systems out there, but can you pick the LCD screen and diferent case.. to what extent is it possible to do.?

Well I was gonna say that your not gonna need such crazy thing as a 500W powersuply.. but if your thinking about SLI GF7800.. well than u might need it. -But I think if you go with a mid range forton you should be fine. something around 400W (as loong as its a good brand) WILL be fine for...
