New build loading problems

Downloaded the Seagate disc wizard and used that to add it as a new disc,seems to have fixed the problem. I did have to let it remove the partition I had made but I just went back and added it after it was done. Windows is loading now.

New build loading problems

Building a new system with a GA-P35-DS3L. Windows sees the drive,a new 500gb seagate partitioned with 26gb for windows. It sees both partitions but says the drive is unpartitioned and will not load Windows. Both partitions are formatted and are seen by operating computers......What's up

Odd X2 problem

I have the X-FI platinum. As a matter of fact BF2142 always defaulted to software.IF I tried to choose X-FI sound it would try to tell me that I didn't have the hardware so I would just run it with generic hardware sound. I'm gonna be away for a week but I will try to reinstall when I get back.

Installed hotfix and removed sound and tuner cards. No problems. Reinstalled tuner and everything is still OK. I think I'll leave the sound card out for awhile just to make sure. Thanks for the help myocardia.

Odd X2 problem

Haven't installed the hotfix.I do have latest drivers for TV tuner.I hope that isn't it because being able to record TV while doing other stuff is why I got the duelcore. I guess the first thing I have to do is put the X2 back on the Epox.More troubleshooting needed.

OK the cooling breaks down like this. I have a ninja tower on the Epox and a Zalman on the Asus. When I first installed the X2 on the Epox close to 40c idle and over 50c prime95.I moved the 120mm fan from it's normal position so that was blowing half across the fins and half a long the...

I'm running the 93.81 drivers with XP pro.I'm not sure which ones I'm using on the 6800gt,one of the 86.xxs I think.

Ya could be I'll have to do that but I was able to put it in the machine without reloading windows. I did install the AMD duel core software on both. The Epox does have latest bios,should be duel core ready. Should be?

WD SATA 250gb w/ XPpro

Thanks jackmds, Do you know what type of connection it uses for the external antenna (RPSMA,RPTNC).Doesn't say in the specs unless I missed it. Just got one of those super Cantenna on sale at compusa so looking for something that will work with that. Ok I see where it says MC card connector...
