How Long?

For those that applied to a university, how long did it take to find out if you had been admitted? That is, from the time you mailed the application to the time you heard back from the university?

back in high school, on the day the german exchange students arrived, my first thought was that we were being invaded by models. the girls were of above average height, very healthy looking, good skin, chic clothes, and neat hair. very pretty too. the ones i got to know well were very cool...

WTF is this? My Foot has this blister with an eye and it hurts like hell

a long time ago, i had one on my foot and the doctor used acid to remove it. i would not recommend this because even though it totally destroyed the wart, it took over 6 weeks and three acid applications for it to disappear. within a few hours of application, the pain was so horrible i...

Which language is more widely used, Java or C++? Actually, what I'm really wondering with this question is that who has a better chance of getting a job, the C++ programmer or the Java programmer? Is the job market more favorable to one than the other?

Are you collecting shows? If so what are they?

my most massive collection is the nearly complete XFiles seasons 1-7 (8 and 9 just weren't worth it) on vhs. whenever i transport it, i need three bags. will probably get into putting stuff on svcd's next time i collect a show

I need to make a cd of dinner music for a retirement party, but have no idea what constitutes good dinner music. All I know is that it needs to be rather calm and preferably instrumental. Any suggestions?

making eye contact requires a little practice. just look them in the eyes while you talk, or they talk, and then look away for a bit, then back in the eyes, then look away. you don't have to move your head, just look to the side or something. don't look at their boobs and stop staring at...
