I guess those of us in the lowly state colleges aren't high enough in the educational food chain. My school wasn't in there either. :( I was able to sign into Microsoft DreamSpark and download Visual Studio 2013, Server 2012 & Virtual PC 2007 with my school email. :)

Any concerns with purchasing a Canon refurb SLR

Has anyone purchased a refurb directly form Canon. Would you have any reservations with a refurb over new because of the warranty? I'm trying to decide between a new T1i or refurb T2i. New with a 1 year warranty or refurb with 90 days. Amazon has a deal if you buy the camera & extra lense...
