I have two monitors, a dp connected unit and a hdmi connected LG 48" tv.
Sleep and wake operate normally up to a point. The LG will display a usual "no input" message and screen saver for a
while, then enter sleep mode.
Wake operates normally if requested soon.
The problem comes if Sleep is...
I think you are good.
I use a ergotron MX mount which is similar as to mount and capability:
https://www.ergodirect.com/15795-ergotron-45-228-026-mx-wall-mount-monitor-arm.html
The monitor is a philips 40" BDM4065UC it weighs 18. 7 lbs.
I might be worried if you have to extend it to the max...
There is a timeout mechanism for the bios to determine that a potential boot device is not available. Usually a dvd.
Making the ssd first will bypass that.
Some bios settings will do a diagnostic scan of ram first; you don't need that.
You might also disable unneeded adapters like the ide...
A decent cooler will let you idle at 10-15c. over ambient.
I think your temps are fine and will not change if you replace the thermal compound.
A cpu will slow down or shut down to prevent damage if it gets too hot.
You are nowhere near those limits.
Also, your cpu is a bit old, the newer...
My canned rant on liquid cooling:
------------------------start of rant-------------------
You buy a liquid cooler to be able to extract an extra multiplier or two out of your OC.
How much do you really need?
I do not much like all in one liquid coolers when a good air cooler like a Noctua...
Some thoughts:
1. For movies, you are more than good.
For gaming, the graphics card is relatively weak. My rule of thumb is to budget twice the price of the cpu for the graphics card.
2. Seasonic is excellent quality , but more than needed for a 7750.
It is good enough for a 7970 or...
You will be hard pressed to detect any difference in performance among any of the modern SSD's without a synthetic benchmark.
A SSD can get slow as it reaches full, so a larger SSD will perform well for longer.
As to what to do:
SSD prices are dropping, and you will not get what they...
A P67 motherboard will want 4 ram sticks to operate in dual channel mode with all sticks. With a 12gb kit of 3 x 4gb, the odd stick will operate in single channel mode. Just go ahead and get a 16gb kit of 4 x 4gb. Ram is cheap. Do not pay extra for faster speeds, better timings, or fancy...
The ^ tests were done with hyperthreading enabled, which distorts the measurements for those workloads that are multi thread capable. To measure the value of extra L3, I am looking for a series of tests with hyperthreading disabled.
I expect that a comprehensive test might show that...
Are there any tests to measure the performance value of the extra 2mb of L3 cache that you get in a 2600?
In part, I got a 2600K instead of a 2500K because it had 8mb L3 instead of 6mb L3 cache. I have no need for the hyperthreading on the 2600k, so I disabled it. My temps under load are...
I just finished a sandy bridge build with the V351.
I have a GTX580 which fits with room to spare, and a 2600K.
I planned on using a noctua u9b cooler, but it was a couple of mm's too tall.
I got a silenx compact tower cooler which fits, just without the need to mod the case.
The stock...
Open a support incident with Antec. They are very good about replacing parts, often for free.
You will need the manufacturing date which is stamped inside on the bottom of the case.
Take the case side panel off and direct a house fan at the innards. If you get much better results, then improving case cooling would be in order.
What type of graphics card cooler do you have?
If it is not a direct exhaust type, the hot vga air is compounding your problem.
