Wierd resolution for a 15.4"?

If you have decent eyes, the high resolution looks great. One thing I have found though, is that because things are so small, it takes a lot of work to use the touchpad because you have to be very accurate. I have used one for years, but with this screen, I decided to use a mouse (bluetooth)...

Rogue: So you are saying you can only set one disk quota per drive? I didn't think about that. I do have some users that need more drive space.

Yeah, I will might give each user a share, but you don't really need to . But what I was asking is do I need to create several other drives beside one C Drive?

Getting ready to install a new file and server. It is a Dell with Server 2003 and raid 5. How should I set up my partitions? I have programs, databases and user files. I am guessing that it came with one partition, but I don't know about that because I haven't plugged it in.

Which HD should I buy for my laptop? (Dell L400)

Yes, the 7200 will make a noticable difference. It does not use much, if any more power, and it is quiet. $126 is a great price. You could ebay that for close to $200.

Is Inspiron 8100 that much better than the 4100?

The screen sizes might be different. The XSGA+ at 1400 x 1050 is very nice, or the UGA at 1600 x1200 is nicer. The 8100 can hold two batteries and still have the CD drive. The 4100 can only hold one plus the CD. The 8 is several pounds heavier than the 4 and if you are going to carry it...

Palm Tungsten T Screen out of sync.

This is a known problem with the Tungsten T. Unless it is under warranty, you could try a couple programs from PalmGear, one is called Digifix.

should I have xp pro?

Sorry to jump in, but are you saying that XP home will not connect to a domain? I am not sure, just asking. Okay, I checked myself. No, XP Home will not connect to a domain only a workgroup. I guess that is the biggest difference, but there are others, I am sure.

Whats the best method (and cheapest) way to clean my labtop's LCD screen?

Clean washcloth or soft towel with hot water (wringe it out). Then dry with soft cotton cloth.

dell xps vs 9100 - whats the difference?

When you select a notebook, you get to a page with four tabs, giving you details about the system. One of them is tech specs. Open up two windows and compare the specs. XPS

Did you look at the Dell XPS. It is "specially" designed for gaming. However, it is one of the heaviest notebooks around. XPS
