Dual nics setup

Like the others said, it is not because you have many NICs connected to your router that you'll get faster download speeds. You are limited by the download speed of your internet connection. Doubling the number of nic in your computer won't double the speed you download at... As for torrents...

Hi, is there a way in windows 2000 server to ask for a password before accessing a shared folder? I want to know if it is possible for a connected user on the domain to access other folders for a short time that he usually is not supposed to have access... For example, let's say a salesman is...

PcAnywhere Linux client?

Hi, I'm not looking for a replacement for PcAnywhere here I'm just wondering if there is a linux client for pcanywhere... I have to connect to a server with pcanywhere and I'm on linux. I guess I can still use Wine, but I was wondering if there is an opensource software that would do the job...

Just to let you know guys, I tried it this morning and it works like a charm ;) I have now a 192.168.1.W drive on my 192.168.0.X server ;)

Hi, We formatted 2 drives at work, one with FAT32 filesystem and the other one with NTFS. We've made ghost images of those 2 drives (the files are really small... less than 500kb). Anyway, if I load ghost and dump the FAT32 image on a hard drive, I get a newly formatted hard drive in less...
