Not to discourage people who really want an Acronis product, but there are great free alternatives out there.
Instead of Disk Director, try MiniTool Partition Wizard. http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
Instead of True Image, try Macrium Reflect...
Keep in mind that AMD skipped a generation performance-wise, so it shouldn't be surprising that two 5870s are better or similar to a 7870.
5870 = 6870 < 7870, more or less
Skott - unfortunately you are probably right. Since Western Digital bought Hitachi, and Seagate bought Samsung, there are now only two major players in the hard drive industry. This means less competition.

In a game, with 2 of 4 cores active, my video card is running 70 degrees C. I expected this case to run a bit hotter, though maybe some extra air flow will help. I didn't check to see what setting the fan that came with it is on. I left it on its default speed.
I received my antec solo today, and transferred my computer parts into it. Although the case is a bit cramped, and my video card blocks one hard drive spot, I like it a lot.
I can see why some people would break off the reset switch, since you can push it in farther than is necessary to make...
Thanks for pointing me towards Antec. In fact, I ordered an Antec Solo. It looks like I should have just gotten it in the first place. I was worried that it wouldn't fit my 6870, but from what I can find, it should fit. It's 9.5 inches if I remember rightly.
I tried this, and I also tried screwing in the video card first, which worked, but then after pushing the video card into the PCI Express slot, it broke the retention lever due to the force of the video card being pulled away from the motherboard. This was while I left the motherboard's screws...
I got a LIAN LI Lancool PC-K7B, hoping for a medium sized case that is relatively quiet and well designed. I really wanted to like it, but I can't forgive a couple of awful design flaws.
The angle between the motherboard tray and the back of the case is > 90 degrees. This causes my 6870 to...
Minimally useful anecdote: I've had a hard drive similar to this for nearly 2 years and had no problems. The difference is that my model number ends with KLA330 instead of CLA332.
