In your BIOS there should be a setting that says "sway boot drive" or something to that effect. Try and locate and enable this setting. This worked for me when I was using a FDD from the early 90s.

I recently installed an athlon 700 and orb fan and plan on overclocking. I noticed in my BIOS that the temp reads around 60C! When I get into Windows my hardware monitor by VIA reads around 40C. Which number is right?
