I have a macbook air with the latest el capitan. When I am scrolling (browser or finder) there is a subtle line of pixels around the images and text while the page is moving. Didn't notice this until now. Is there anyone having this issue?
@ MichaelD: it supports both IDE and SATA
At the moment I can't get any more information on it because the store is closed, but judging by the price I think it's pretty basic. Can you recommend a resonably priced one?
Update: I didn't find a way to work with the framebuffer in C#, but I managed to find a way to use unsafe code to get faster response: ~1 sec. I guess it will have to do. Anyway I would have scan the entire image (from the framebuffer) for changes.

This PC...

cpu: Core 2 Duo E6420
video: Gigabyte 8500GT
or use the onboard video
memory: OCZ DDR2...
